Why with us
Payroll for the bilingual DMV business.
Truly bilingual
Spanish with the owner; English with the IRS, banks and quarterly reports. No translating on the fly, no explaining every term three times.
Integrated with the rest of our Accounting pillar
Payroll does not sit alone: it connects with bookkeeping, taxes and quarterly forecasts. One team closes the loop on cash in, cash out and taxes owed.
W-2 + 1099 in the same run
Many DMV Latino businesses run full-time employees and rotating crews. We process both pay types in the same cycle — you do not pay for two separate services.
No April surprises
Each quarter we forecast withholdings. When April 15 hits, no number comes out of nowhere. And if your tax burden can be optimized (LLC → S-Corp when appropriate), we evaluate it with you.
Cities and regions
Where we run payroll.
We serve the entire DMV. These are the region pages for businesses looking for a local accountant.
We also work by vertical
If you are in construction or beauty and wellness, payroll adapts to your industry pattern: full-time W-2 employees + 1099 subcontractors in construction, or mixed-shift staff with tips and commissions in beauty. One team, one run.

Frequently asked
Everything you usually ask about payroll.
- How much does payroll cost?
- Payroll is not billed separately — it is part of our Accounting pillar ($700/mo alone, or inside the 3-Pillar bundle from $1,500/mo). Includes W-2 + 1099-NEC + REG/OT/DT timesheet + quarterly filings, no per-employee or per-run fees.
- Which states do you run payroll in?
- Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC — the DMV. We handle state withholdings for each (VA, MD, DC), not just federal.
- What is the difference between W-2 and 1099-NEC?
- W-2 is for full-time employees: you withhold federal/state/FICA taxes from every paycheck. 1099-NEC is for independent contractors who invoice for a service: no withholding (the contractor pays their own taxes) but at year-end you file a 1099-NEC if you paid them more than $600. Many Latino businesses run both at once — W-2 cooks + 1099 delivery, for example.
- How often do you run payroll?
- You pick: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Bi-weekly is the most common in the DMV (26 payrolls per year). If you need to change cadence for high season, we adjust without re-signing a contract.
- Can employees see their pay stubs?
- Yes — every employee has a portal where they see pay stubs, prior-year W-2s and their tax info (W-4). Cuts the 40 yearly calls asking for "my last pay stub."
- Do you file forms with the IRS or just generate data?
- We file. Quarterly 941, annual 940, W-2 and 1099-NEC at year-end — all sent to the IRS and to the state. You receive a digital copy of every filing.
- What do you need to get started?
- Your EIN, employee list with W-4s (or W-9s if contractors), the state you operate in, and the cadence you want. If you are coming from another provider, we migrate current-year history without re-capturing.
How many employees do you run?
